HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well when i try to start uo this error comes up

buffer overrun detected

(then it says were the game is folder wise)

a buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. the programe cannot safely continue executing and must be terminated.

then it just gives me a OK button and closes

i have tried to start in safe mode run as admin and everything i tried reinstalling

the only thing i have done is a driver update could this be the problem if so how can i fix it plz help

sounds like a file was deleted or something, uninstall both uo and vcod and delete all folders related to uo or vcod in that matter and reinstall both games

Ok sooooooooo i thought i fixed my mic. which i did but now my speakers wont work..so i just did a system restore and speakers are back working BUTTTTT now mic doesnt work again. I've figured out the problem but i dont know how to move devices to open ports on my computer....

I would think since your headset is usb, and it gives you that little icon to safely remove hardware, if you removed your headset without doing that I bet that could be the problem, if not just mess around with your settings or w.e and try to get it to work, god i feel like an indian tech support person

my headset is not USB but my card is hooked up the USB ports or something..its just how the model of my card works

well i unistalled uo complety deleted everything realated to uo and reinstalled same problem comes up i am perrty sure it has to do with my graphics card update since it was working fine before i did this.

any thoughts?

did you uninstall vcod? do that also, see what happens, other then that you might have to reinstall your gfx card drivers or go back to the version the game worked in, hope this helps....

yea i unistalled v codbut i dont know how to get the 1 i had before when i got to the web the only 1 it shows me is the 1 thats out now

lol after reading it i understood wat i said made not alot of sense but i think ill just use my old disc which had a older driver on it that worked just when i try to start steam it tells me to update
